From Impressionism to the Tropics
Driven by the illusion of the realization and perfection of the repertoire from a new and different vision, in 2011 the Ánima Ensemble was launched under the initial idea of five young wind musicians for the creation of a multipurpose chamber group and with great sights towards the future.
With the sonority and timbres that characterize the wind section of a symphony orchestra but with the advantages of space and resources, Ánima Ensemble has a wide repertoire that covers styles from classicism to the contemporary field.
The members of the group have been part of the teaching staff of the Escuela Internacional de Perfeccionamiento Musical Presjovem and have performed at the Festival Internacional de Música Presjovem in Córdoba (Spain), in the music circuits of Musical Youth of Seville, the Juventudes Musicales de Sevilla, las Diputaciones provinciales de Sevilla, Málaga y Cádiz, Red de Teatros Públicos de Andalucía, Festival de Música de Palencia, Ciclo de Músicas de Valencina, en la XXI Semana de la Música de Almagro (Ciudad Real) and in the MusaE Circuit (Music in the Museums of the Community of Madrid), among others.
